STAFF & OFFICE INFORMATION

To improve our efficiency and response time, all of the medical office business and scheduling functions are centralized in our Tucson, Arizona office. This means that for medical questions, prescription refills, appointment scheduling, lab requests and other matters, you may contact the Tucson office directly by phone or fax at the numbers on the front of your health notebook. Our Tucson Office Manager will see that your requests are directed to the appropriate staff.

Due to the many requests we have received from people wanting to be seen in the Dallas area, I have decided to continue a satellite office in Texas in the Las Colinas area, about a 10 minute drive from the DFW airport. I will see patients in this office one week a month as I have done for many years. The difference now is that I will not have the larger facility in Texas with other physicians and nurse practitioners and support staff as I did previously. Most new patient consults will be done in Tucson, although some may be scheduled in Texas as appropriate. Appointments for follow up may be arranged in either office, by calling the Tucson office at 520-797-9131.

Our Tucson staff members (Medical Assistant, Patient Services and Scheduling Coordinator, Medical Records Coordinator and Business Manager) assist the Tucson Office Manager in handling your requests. Our Exercise Physiologist assists me with all our new patients, discusses exercise and nutrition with you, and may also be the one responding to some of your clinical questions. We have added a Director of Operations and IT Development, to keep my staff and me from tearing out our hair over the computers!

We make every effort to respond to your requests promptly, but sometimes people forget to leave numbers where they can be reached during the day. Please leave your work and cell phone numbers, as well as a home number, to make it easier for us to get back to you. We do not handle patient questions by email, since it is not confidential and could compromise patient privacy.

You may contact our office as follows:

(1) Call the Tucson office directly at (520) 797-9131. Normally you will speak to one of our staff, but if all the lines are in use, you will automatically be rolled into our voice messaging system, so that you can leave a message and phone numbers for the staff to call you back.

(2) FAX directly to 520-797-2948.

(3) Do not e-mail. We do not handle patient medical questions by email, since it is not confidential and could compromise patient privacy.
