“From personal experience as a patient, I know what it means not to be listened to: in pain, losing your health, and feeling frightened and vulnerable. I think these experiences added to my passion to tell people, especially women, that there is hope out there — and help.”
Elizabeth Lee Vliet, MD

Most doctors today do not consider the important hormone connections play important roles in multiple body and brain systems and cause havoc with a woman’s physical and emotional states when hormones go awry.
Our goal at HER Place ® is to help you develop a comprehensive, long-term health strategy, and not just a quick fix for the symptoms that ail you. We look at the whole person, and not just the medical conditions. We integrate the best preventive medicine with our understanding of hormones and their effects to help you on your journey to optimal, physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. We complement, and do not duplicate, the services of other physicians, and encourage you to continue existing relationships with your doctors.
The real difference between HER Place ® and most other women’s centers is in the detailed evaluation we provide, including hormone assessments, and in the amount of time that we spend with each person. We’ve designed our practice feel warm and safe, from our office decor to the nurturing staff. We help women of all ages who are experiencing:
